Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)

FEES is a medical procedure used to assess the safety and effectiveness of swallowing. A flexible endoscope is passed through the nose into the throat to observe swallowing in real time.

It allows the diagnosis and management of dysphagia and supports treatment planning (e.g., diet adjustments, exercises), improving quality of life. FEES is minimally invasive and well-tolerated.
